Terms of use.

1. Acceptance

By using ID Photo Box you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms apply to the website, the document photo editors, the AI headshot studio and the account system.

2. Free document tools and paid AI

Passport, visa and ID photo editing is free, with no account and no watermark. You may use the exported document photos for personal or business purposes. The AI headshot studio is a separate paid service: it requires a Google sign-in and uses one-time pay-as-you-go AI credit packs. There is no free AI allowance and no subscription.

3. Accounts and sign-in

AI credits are attached to the verified email address returned by Google. You must keep access to that Google account. Do not share your session or attempt to use another person’s account. We may suspend an account that is used for abuse, fraud or unlawful content. You can ask us to delete your account by emailing support.

4. Credits, payments and refunds

Credits are sold in one-time pay-as-you-go packs. One successful AI generation uses ten credits; a failed generation does not. Credits never expire, have no cash value and cannot be transferred or resold. Checkout and payment processing are provided by Creem as merchant of record; Creem’s buyer terms and privacy policy also apply. If a payment succeeds but credits do not appear, contact support with the purchase email and Creem order details. Nothing in this section limits a refund or remedy required by applicable consumer law.

5. Your responsibilities

• Use a photo that you own or have explicit permission to edit.
• Do not use the AI studio to impersonate another person, misrepresent identity or create deceptive official documents.
• Do not upload images of minors, unlawful content, or content that violates another person’s privacy or publicity rights.
• Do not attempt to bypass credit or rate limits, extract model credentials, or automate requests in a way that harms the service.
• Check the current requirements of the authority receiving your photo. You are responsible for what you submit.

6. No acceptance guarantee

ID Photo Box is not a government agency and is not affiliated with any passport office, consulate, visa centre or identity authority. The presets follow published sizes and framing guidance, but rules can change and individual offices can apply additional conditions. A photo made with this site is not guaranteed to be accepted. Always verify the latest official requirements.

7. AI results

The AI studio uses a generative model. Results are probabilistic, may contain visual artefacts, and may change details of a person’s appearance. Review every result before using it. Do not use AI-edited portraits for passports, visas, national IDs or any other official identity document; use the local document editors instead.

8. Privacy

The local editors do not upload photos and do not need an account. The AI studio sends one compressed portrait through Cloudflare for one edit and does not store the image. Account records contain your Google email, name, credit balance and purchase records. See the Privacy Policy for the complete description.

9. Intellectual property

The site’s design, copy, code and brand are owned by ID Photo Box or used with permission. You retain rights to the photo you upload and to the result generated from it, subject to the model provider’s terms and applicable law. You receive a non-exclusive right to use your exported document photo and AI result for lawful purposes.

10. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. The AI studio depends on third-party models and can be unavailable. The site may change, suspend a feature or correct an error without notice. To the extent permitted by law, ID Photo Box disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ID Photo Box is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the site, including a refused application, a printing error, lost time or a lost opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Third-party links and services

The site uses Google for sign-in and Creem for payments, and links to official authorities and other resources. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement and does not mean the destination is current.
